Join us for a two-hour vibrational healing experience at the Intown Retreat in Decatur, Georgia to realign your chakras and balance your mind, body and spirit. This two hour retreat will begin with a meditation, followed by a Kundalini yoga practice led by Brett Erickson with crystal bowl chakra sounds, and last you’ll relax into a full immersive sound bath led by Rebecca Turk. 

The Kundalini yoga will begin with a gentle flow warm up to get your muscles stretched out. Then we’ll move into a classical Kundalini yoga sequence, with calisthenic type movements in seated and standing positions, paired with rhythmic breathing. Kundalini sequences are a fast-track on the yoga energy highway! Through the unique sequence of exercises we will activate the energy along the spinal column and move it through the chakra system. Rebecca will play sound healing bowls relating to each chakra as we move through our practice. We end with a long savasana, allowing you to deeply integrate. This practice is suitable for both beginners and seasoned yogis, modifications always available.

After the kundalini practice is complete, Sound Healer and Reiki Master, Rebecca Turk will take participants on a meditative and healing journey of sound. This sound experience incorporates the angelic healing tones which radiate from her quartz crystal bowls tuned to the 7-point chakra system, a native drum will mimic the sound of ocean waves which are cleansing and clearing, gong vibration to quiet the mind and finally, gentle tones from Koshi chimes tuned specifically to the four elements will complete the experience. Higher Love Yoga with Robin Doyon

There is a beautiful jazz flow yoga class by Robin Doyon right before the sound bath session on Sundays at The Chapel on Sycamore. Yoga begins at 4:30pm. You are welcome to attend the yoga class as well as this is a beautiful way to prepare yourself for deep mediation during the sound bath.

The cost is $15 and you can pay Robin the day of the event! As an added treat, I will be playing my sound bowls during the yoga class Savasana.
